"HOTEL FOR DOGS"
FAMILY FILM SERIES

Hotel For Dogs at the Vilar Performing Arts Center

ABOUT "HOTEL FOR DOGS:"
The Vilar Performing Arts Center presents the Family Film series. Based on Lois Duncan’s novel by the same name, the story revolves around two orphaned teenagers who decide to turn an abandoned building into a safe haven for stray dogs. When the police storm the hotel and take all the dogs to the pound, the kids make a daring rescue attempt that will likely land them in separate group homes. Can social worker Bernie (Don Cheadle) somehow convince the authorities, and perhaps a loving family, that the children were just doing what was right? Runtime: 100 minutes, rated PG.

Each VPAC Family Film is enhanced by a pre-movie activity in the theatre lobby, along with a costume contest. This week, we'll have Mobile Dog Adoptions on hand beginning at 5:30pm so you can learn about becoming a home for a real dog! Plus Dr Susan Klein from Alpine Meadows Animal Clinic will be on hand to answer dog care questions. Come dressed as your favorite "Hotel For Dogs" character and you'll have a chance to win a variety of great prizes donated by Beaver Creek businesses. The costume contest will take place on the VPAC stage at 6:30pm.

TICKETS:

The VPAC Family Film Series is a FREE event, graciously sponsored by the Beaver Creek Merchants Association. Seats are first-come, first-served.
